The Girls

There are currently 14 pullets and one cockerel that call our farm home.  I purchased 11 from East Gate Feed & Grain.  Those are the buff Orpingtons (Wanda, Rachel, Bonita, and Shaye), Rhode Island Reds (Glo and Bellatrix), Ameraucauna (Katniss), Easter Egger (Clove), and the buff Brahmas (Everdeen, Primrose, and Pamela).  The other 4 I got from Shauf's Poultry.  They are the buff Brahmas (Glimmer and Effie), Barred Rock (Spice), and a golden-laced Sebright bantam rooster (Professor Snape).

If someone would have told me, prior to buying my first peep, that I'd be totally infatuated with them I would have said they were dead wrong.  Now my favorite pastime is sitting with them, watching "chicken tv". :-)
